We decided to cross the border to get to this Spanish enclave a couple of km from our hotel. It is a real border crossing and and once in Ceuta (or Sebta) you know you are in Spain. The atmosphere, the architecture, the shops, the way people go about their way. The view is incredible all arourd this peninsula, we visit the fortress and its museum, walk around town and drive up to a still very active military area from where we are forbidden to take picture of the bay..I guess for security reasons!
